Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a name, location, or other term is entered into a search box, the query is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider handles the query under its own privacy policy and terms.
Messages Sent to Us
An email or contact-form message is retained as needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law. Please avoid sending sensitive custody, financial, or identity data that is not needed for the question.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most web services, the site receives routine technical details when a page loads. These records help operate the pages, understand traffic, and diagnose errors. They may include:
- The network Internet Protocol address.
- The browser name and version.
- The device type and operating system.
- The pages opened and time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.
- The date and time associated with a request.
Browser Cookies
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors use the site and support site functions. Most browsers allow cookies to be limited, blocked, or deleted through their settings. Some features may work differently or less reliably when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used
Information is used only for ordinary site, partner, and advertising operations, including these purposes:
- Keeping pages available, responsive, and efficient.
- Sending a submitted search to the selected partner service.
- Learning which sections visitors find useful.
- Detecting and resolving errors, abuse, or performance problems.
- Displaying advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests.
Privacy Beyond This Domain
Links may lead to Comanche County release sources, Sheriff and corrections pages, Kansas government portals, federal locators, or third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination’s privacy policy and data practices apply. We do not control those outside systems.
Some advertising partners may use their own technologies to recognize activity across websites and select interest-based advertisements. That tracking occurs on the partner’s systems, not as a search-term log maintained by this site.
Limited Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be processed or disclosed to a limited set of recipients when needed for the services described here:
- Search partners that receive and process a submitted query.
- Analytics providers that measure use and performance.
- Advertising networks that deliver and measure ads.
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order.
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information under our control. No internet-connected service, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We therefore cannot promise that information will never be accessed, lost, altered, or disclosed without authorization.
Adults Only
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted personal data, contact us so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law and the information held, a person may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of personal data associated with that person.
- Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
- Erase personal information where deletion is required or appropriate.
- Stop or opt out of certain forms of processing when the law provides that choice.
A request may require enough information to verify identity and locate the relevant data. These rights concern information controlled by this site. Requests about a Sheriff, court, KDOC, VINE, BOP, ICE, analytics provider, advertiser, or search partner must be directed to that entity.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised when practices, services, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after publication means the revised notice applies.
